  • you've been convicted of an offence involving dishonesty, indecency or violence
  • you've been convicted of an offence under, or failed to comply with, the provisions of the Town Police Clauses Act or the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976

Where such suspension, cancellation or refusal to renew occurs we're required to give the driver notice of the grounds on which this action has been taken within 14 days of the suspension, revocation or refusal to renew.

You have a right of appeal against our decision to a Magistrates’ Court, within 21 days of the receipt of our notice.
