How bin collections in Warrington work

The way bins are collected helps us recycle and reduce our waste. It's very simple and works like this:

All you have to do is put your waste in the correct bin.


What can I put in each bin?

Cardboard boxes and packaging (Please flatten them before putting in the bin)

Glass bottles and jars

Shredded paper

Plastic bottles - juice, water and milk bottles including shampoo and household cleaning bottles

Yellow pages

Yoghurt and margarine tubs

What to do with the bin for collection

The bin lid must fully close, if it does not we can't collect it. Do not leave any other waste near your bin as we cannot collect it.

Put your bin at the edge of your property by 6:30am on your collection day, you can move it the night before your collection day.
