The Government is paying a Cost of Living payment of £650 to households on low incomes (this is defined as people entitled to at least one of the following Benefits);

  • Universal credit
  • Income-based jobseeker’s allowance
  • Income-based employment and support allowance
  • Income support
  • Working tax credit
  • Child tax credit
  • Pension credit

The £650 has been split into 2 payments. The first payment was £326 and was paid between the 14 and 31 July 2022. The second payment of £324 is to be paid between November 9 2022 and November 23 2022.
