After 4pm, weekends, and bank holidays - Drop off at Cheshire Dogs Home
If you find a dog out of hours then you have 2 options. You can:
- keep the dog until the wardens are available on the next working day. If you decide to do this you should report the dog online on the Acorn Kennels website
or
- take the dog to Cheshire Dogs Home: 225 Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 3JZ Phone: 01925 269500

If you cannot keep the dog:
- Contact a local veterinarian to see if they can take the dog.

Dangerous dogs
The definition of a dangerous dog is:
- A dog that's out of control
- A dog that can cause injury
- A person feels that they're in danger of a dog attacking them or others

Who to contact
