Warrington Borough Councils Children's Residential Service is expanding with the opening of a number of innovative projects over the next 12 months.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to join an already supportive and experienced staff team as a Residential Edge of Care Worker.

As a Residential Edge of Care Worker, you will be required to work as part of an outreach support service which also offer short break stays for children and young people. You will support children, young people and their families with a robust package of support that will include community outreach and short break stays. As part of this role, you will be expected to work evenings, weekend and complete sleep-in shifts. 

This role can be challenging, rewarding and we are looking for people that are flexible, motivated, and resilient. The right candidate will be highly skilled, be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team as well as being able to work unsupervised within the community.

Along with a competitive salary you will be paid enhancements, sleep ins and mileage allowances with extensive training package and development opportunities. You must hold or be willing to work towards a level 3 Diploma in Residential Care Work.
