About us

We are a combined regulatory service which includes environmental health, trading standards, licensing, planning enforcement and environmental crime. You will report to Business Compliance Manager.

The role

The Business Compliance Team are responsible for delivering a wide range of services including Food Hygiene and Standards, Health and Safety at Work, Underage Sales, Private Water Supplies and Public Health Funerals. The successful candidate will support the team across all its duties with particular emphasis on the fields of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety at Work. You must therefore have a track record of achievement and extensive knowledge in these areas and should hold the qualifications that would allow you to meet the requirements of the Food Law Code of Practice.

What's needed?

You should have supervisory experience and be interested in helping professionals grow and reach their full potential.  

You will be able to fulfil or be prepared to work towards the competency requirements of a lead food officer under Food Law Code of Practice.

You will need to hold a full driving licence.
