School Administration Assistant - St Helens C. E. Primary School
The role
St Helens C. E. Primary School are a based in the village of Hollins Green, Warrington.
We are looking for a School Administration Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week, term time only + 2 inset days.
Some of the main duties of the role will be:
- Promoting the school to parents, visitors and the wider community in line with its ethos, by providing a welcoming and supportive point of contact either face to face, by telephone, or via email.
- Supporting the provision of a welcoming, tidy and efficient school office and reception area.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the whole school community.
- Produce, with support, a range of documents from a variety of sources, using various software packages (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and IRIS).
- File documentation using school systems.
- Open, sort and distribute incoming post and ensures dispatch of outgoing post.
- Answers standard enquiries by telephone, email or in person giving and resolving non-complex queries within areas of responsibility.
- Support the monitoring of pupil attendance and punctuality and promote good attendance at school.
- Support the recording of pupil attendance records.
- Support with the processing of course bookings.
