Just a short walk from the hall through our beautiful formal gardens, the hideaway is the perfect choice for couples looking for a setting full of rustic charm. The beautiful and unique hideaway seats up to 100 guests for your big day, and is now available for viewings and bookings.
Alongside the new Woodland Hideaway, Walton has two other outdoor locations if you are looking to get married during the summer months.
The Bandstand, with its traditional style, is situated right next to the Hall, or there is the Pergola, which is set within the picturesque formal gardens.
Or, if you would prefer to have an indoor setting for your special day, the beautiful Walton Hall has three ceremony rooms to choose from, or there is the vinery, which is part of the beautifully-restored glasshouses.
Whether you choose a small intimate gathering or want to throw a party no one will forget, Walton will adapt to your requirements. There are also a range of special touches and activities you can add to your day to make it one you will never forget.
Our three resident alpaca – Jim, Topaz and Mally – can visit you for your photos, or why not add a game of adventure golf for your guests to enjoy? Walton’s wedding coordinators are on hand to help you create any other special touches to make your day one to remember.
With Visit England Tourism Award-winning gardens and acres of idyllic parkland, there are plenty of choices when it comes to choosing the spot for those timeless photographs.
Cllr Tony Higgins, cabinet member for leisure and community, said: “It’s fantastic to see Walton Hall and Gardens going from strength to strength, with even more locations available to help you create your perfect special day.
“The Woodland Hideaway is the perfect place for those couples looking to celebrate their marriage in Walton’s beautiful outdoor gardens, in a location that is truly unique. If you are looking for a rustic wedding, or would like to book any of our other fantastic locations at the Walton estate, you can arrange a viewing with the team today.”
If you would like to see our picture-perfect setting for yourself, you can book a one-to-one appointment for a wedding viewing with a member of our team. This will include an informal chat about your plans and they can answer any questions you may have.
And if you are looking for some general wedding inspiration from some of Cheshire’s most elite suppliers, the free Wedding Party event is back at Walton Hall and Gardens on Sunday 11 September.
