The event will cover a basic history of Warrington through popular maps, with Philip Jeffs from Warrington Museum.
The event is on Friday 24 February, 9.30am to 11am, and tickets cost £10.95, which includes a breakfast barm with tea or coffee.
This session will go through some of the changes Warrington has undergone over the years as evidenced through its changing appearance on historic maps. Some features remain to this day, while some are long gone.
Attendees will also see how major changes in the lifeblood of a town are reflected in its maps.
Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Jean Flaherty, said: “As Heritage champion, I am delighted to be hosting another fantastic Heritage Breakfast event at our historic Town Hall.
“This Heritage Breakfast in particular will really delve into and showcase Warrington’s rich history in a unique way, with help from local expert Philip Jeffs. It’s one not to miss!”
