Delivered in partnership with the council, Warrington&Co, and The Pledge, this free event is open to everyone, no matter what stage you are in your career.
The fair, which has previously been described as possibly one of the best in the area, is taking place on Wednesday 8 February from 5pm to 7.30pm.
The jobs fair provides people with an unmissable opportunity to speak with a range of employers, representing multiple sectors, with many career opportunities and ‘live’ vacancies on offer.
It is also the perfect chance to ask those all important questions and, if you are looking for that first step on the ladder, or planning your next career move, this event is the perfect place to discover what opportunities are out there waiting for you.
If you, or someone you know, are a job seeker, seeking an apprenticeship, or looking for a change in direction, come along to the Warrington Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair.
All of the exhibitors are local employers with either live job vacancies or apprenticeships, or will be recruiting within 2023.
The jobs fair follows on from Warrington Skills Commission’s inaugural meeting, with the commission aiming to ensure local people have the skills employers want and need, with its research including a focus on particular skills required to fuel existing and future business needs. You can read more about the Skills Commission on the council’s website.
Cllr Sarah Hall, cabinet member for children's services, said: “I’m delighted that the Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair is back again, this time with over 45 local employers taking part.
“It is also fitting that the fair takes place during National Apprenticeships Week, which celebrates all of the benefits of taking part in an apprenticeship.
“Whether you are looking to get into a new career, change careers, or are looking to find out about the learning opportunities that apprenticeships offer, the jobs fair is a fantastic opportunity to find out more and speak to local employers.”
