The Open Space, Sport, and Recreation Assessment 2023 (OSSRA)

OSSRA is the term for a collection of documents that provide an up-to-date assessment of all the borough’s open space, sport, and recreation facilities.

There are five documents in total:

• The Open Space Report (OSR) - Gives the latest position of the distinct types and levels of public open space provision
• Playing Pitch & Outdoor Sport Assessment Report (PPOSA) - Gives the latest position of the type and number of playing pitches
• Playing Pitch & Outdoor Sport Strategy (PPOSS) - Provides an action plan to guide future investment, development, and improvement of playing pitches
• Indoor & Built Facilities Needs Assessment (IBFNA) - Gives an up-to-date position of the type and number of indoor sports facilities
• Indoor Built & Facilities Strategy (IBFS) - Provides an action plan to guide future investment, development, and improvement of indoor sports facilities
