Free Environmental Home Assessment for Private Landlords

The council is working with Pure Leapfrog, a sustainability charity on a government funded project aimed at helping private landlords play their part in helping Warrington achieve our climate goals.

The project is called Retrofit for Lets. Retrofit means upgrading or making improvements to your tenants’ homes with low carbon technologies such as heat source heat pumps or low carbon appliances.

As a landlord, you can play your part in reducing carbon emissions by upgrading your property to be better insulated, and provide energy efficient appliances and other green technologies. Making the investment now to upgrade your rental property will contribute to meeting net zero targets, as well as increasing the long-term value of your property.
