I would like to raise 3 points as a resident of South Warrington and local GP for over 30 years. Firstly the response page on the website seems designed to deter comments on the plan -not a good way to encourage local democracy and true consultation. There should be a commitment to only allow building on green belt after brown field sites are fully utilised . Without one developers will inevitably take the easy and more profitable option of destroying green belt to the irretrievable detriment of future generations. The lack of a credible plan to improve transport infrastructure before building more houses will inevitably lead to more congestion on our already inadequate roads and bridges with significant consequences for the health of our population.
