I would like to respond to the draft local plan, in short I do not believe that it is the right plan for Warrington and needs to be modified for the following reasons;
* Traffic and |Infrastructure. Currently there are no plans for managing the impact of 4,200 new houses on our existing road system.
* The brownfield regeneration first. By releasing the green belt developers will be less likely to develop brownfield sites closer to the town centre.
* Housing and growth. The local plans predictions for economic growth are driven by the government's formula, but I believe that this may be unrealistic for Warrington. The predictions for housing completions suggest rates of building that have never been achieved consistently in Warrington previously.
