I have looked at the plans that are intended for the Greenfield site in Grappenhall near Stockton Lane and would like to oppose them.
My initial reasons are below:
? The houses are being built on a greenfield site why not build on a brownfield site
? Current road infrastructure is not good enough to cope with more traffic and no sign of new road infrastructure on the plans
? Adequate school places in the area to allow for more children in the area
? Indoor leisure facilities such as a swimming pool
? Plenty of new housing currently being built at Grappenhall Heys, Black Cap Road & Dipping Brook Road
? Current drainage etc. will not cope with the extra waste
? No longer have the Village feel to the area.
? People pay a premium to live near a greenfield site and will no longer be a greenfield site
