I would like to register our objection to the above extension. We both fail to see how the council can possibly consider this to be a good move forward. Surely green belt land means green belt, not to be treated in any other way. The congestion through the locality is getting worse in any event, so how on earth will the infrastructure cope with even more added pressure from thousands more houses, it's just not sustainable. What about the local canal crossings ??? What about the pollution in the area from thousands more vehicles? This development will completely ruin the entire area forever.
