There is no justification for the predicted growth. There is no need now or in the future for the volume of housing and Employment predicted.
There is NO justification for the destruction of the Green Belt and destroying the character and landscape of our villages and countryside.
In this critical time of protecting our environment, there is NO justification in these developments which will pollute our air and destroy local ecology.
As well as there being no justification for the developments, the plan does not detail how the infrastructure would cope with :
? the increased levels of transport in already congested areas.
? demands on School places
? demands on NHS facilities
? demands on community, leisure and sports facilities
? provision of shopping facilities.
The current developments from previous plans are still in progress and continue to destroy the character of our communities in South Warrington.
The facilities promised with these developments 30 years ago are still absent!
PLEASE DO NOT DESTROY WARRINGTON SOUTH ANY MORE!!!
