Objecting to the allocation for a number of reasons: Prime Minister has confirmed that no homes should be built on the Green Belt; concern that development will increase flooding; concern regarding access to the site and safety of pedestrians with increased traffic given conditions of pavements and lack of pedestrian crossings; lack of infrastructure to support new homes, including schools, medical services and local shops; impact on health and wellbeing of local residents with loss of quality of environment around Bridgewater Canal and Trans Pennine way; concern with loss of habitat for birds and animals; development is contrary to objectives of Government?s climate pledge; there are several brownfield sites across Warrington that could be developed.
