I have already responded to the consultation but this afternoon I was reminded of another issue that is not taken into account sufficiently and that is the traffic down the narrow parts of Rushgreen Road. I shop frequently at Sainsbury?s on Rushgreen Road and I like to go there on my bicycle. To get to the centre of Lymm on a bicycle it is necessary to use the very narrow bit of the road. There is so much traffic on it now that every time I use it I end up with a long queue of cars behind me as there is no possibility of overtaking a bicycle safely. In one way the queue is a good thing because it slows the traffic down but on the other hand it is very intimidating having an impatient driver on your back wheel continuously revving the engine and making failed attempts to overtake. If you are to be true to the green ambitions of the plan a solution for this problem has to be found before more dwellings, whose inhabitants will use this road, can be allowed.
