Object to this allocation on the grounds: There will be increasing pressure on the road system exacerbating existing problems. The primary school is on a constrained site and cannot take more development despite the policy allowing for increased capacity. The site is close to an historical battlefield site which will be put risk through any development.

Summary of comments
The development allocations in the Warrington draft Local Plan and those in neighbouring S St Helens and around Winwick will lead to the loss of most green space in the area.
The Parish Council objects to the inclusion of the Peel Hall site in the draft plan in line with resident concerns. Despite loss of the Appeal the concerns for the draft plan centre on: The detriment to residents caused by loss of a large green space next to the M62. Traffic congestion caused by the development/lack of highway infrastructure to support/impact on quality of life of the residents. Inadequate facilities in the village. The development will change the character of the village.
