With Lancashire Gardens Trust we commented on the previous version of the Local Plan in 2019. A copy of our letter is attached. We are disappointed that our contribution is not reflected in the latest draft plan suggesting that Warrington Borough Council does not recognise the important of its historic designed landscapes and the contribution that they make to the quality and character of the Borough as a place to live, work and play. These non-designated heritage assets are irreplaceable, and require recognition in accordance with NPPF 16, 20, 184 and 189.
