Summary of comments
Proposed plan shows higher no. of housing than has ever been achieved before, despite recent calculations suggesting a smaller population. Large number of homes and employment facilities located on outskirts of town, thus increasing vehicle usage and adding to congestion/pollution issues. No detail on delivery of new infrastructure. No justification for Green Belt use, particularly with regard to six56 development which is likely to supply low skilled/low paid jobs. Brownfield sites need regeneration. Green Belt should be retained for health and wellbeing of residents.
