I feel the proposed local plan for house development on green belt land in south Warrington is not sound.
It is not in line with local needs which include better air quality, reduced traffic congestion, especially through village and canal crossing bottle necks. Both of these will be made far worse if the plan goes ahead.
It is unlikely that desperately needed medical centres and leisure centres will be introduced/delivered.
Such a large amount of housing in this area is unjustified as employment in the area is not here in any kind of diversity, so car commute will be required which takes us back full circle to my first point.
I submit my objection to the proposal.
