Poorly thought through transport links. Current infrastructure already overstretched - new infrastructure should be in place before housing developments. More focus needed on transport into town centre and waterfront. Urban sprawl from proposal to safeguard land for residential development. South Warrington disproportionately affected and housing in area will not be affordable for employees working at nearby employment sites. Plan period is too long - shorter period would allow for less housing to be built and settling down of UK economy post-BREXIT. Loss of character in villages as a result of development. Local Development Plan requires additional information on waste infrastructure. Projected population growth not in line with ONS data. Fall in immigration not taken into account in growth projections. No plans on how WBC aim to reduce pollution levels. Lack of essential infrastructure provision.

Objection to Green Belt release - brownfield development must be prioritised in line with Government strategy. No exceptional circumstances for Green Belt release. Land is essential for wellbeing of residents and to offset pollution. No evidence of ecological and environmental survey - impact of loss of Green Belt on environment not taken into account.
