Representations from 2019 plan regarding Green Belt ignored - plan driven by commercial interests not interest of residents. No exceptional circumstances for Green Belt release. Economic growth figures are not justified - targeted housing number is not deliverable. Proposed housing will not meet affordability requirements and will likely be owned by commuters - further exacerbating traffic issues. Air pollution/congestion issues not addressed. Plan will be damaging to character and distinctiveness of South Warrington and have negative environmental impact. Plan does not address infrastructure needs for vastly increased population. No clarity on delivery of plan.

Development previously rejected due to poor access and impact on road network - traffic levels have increased in recent years so impact on local roads will now be worse.

Plan relies too heavily on logistics sites which provide few employment opportunities due to automation. Development will add significantly to congestion.

Traffic infrastructure insufficient - no details in plan to ensure infrastructure is delivered before housing developments are built. Infrastructure included in plan is primarily feeder roads to allow developers Green Belt access - supporting idea that plan is developer led.
