Summary of comments
Concern as infrastructure in area already overstretched - development will increase pollution/congestion. No clarity on new infrastructure proposals. Development on Green Belt cannot be justified, especially in light of COP26. Boundary was only confirmed 7 years ago. Forecasts for commercial plans unrealistic as they are based on predictions on a level of activity and development which has never been achieved before.
Documents
Proposed no. of houses not necessary as it is based on old data. All new homes should be built on brownfield land instead. More focus needed on town centre regeneration. Insufficient infrastructure to support planned development. Green Belt should be protected for air quality benefits.
