Development would result in loss of character in South Warrington, poorer air quality, environmental/ecological damage, amplified transportation issues due to poor infrastructure. New road that joins Chester Road to town centre is a very positive development. The western link road is not needed now Port Warrington and the Walton expansion have been removed. Proposed housing in South Warrington would not be affordable. Workers of new employment area will commute from elsewhere - adding to congestion issues. More focus needed on town centre regeneration.
