More focus needed on residential developments near town centre to provide more affordable homes and contribute to revitalisation of town centre. Developments in South Warrington will not have this effect due to limited crossings into town centre - residents likely to find it easier to travel to Altrincham than Warrington, and will likely commute elsewhere for work. South Warrington developments are also likely to add significantly to congestion/pollution - contrary to climate change policies. Additional traffic on overstretched road networks will be dangerous. Green Belt should be preserved for wellbeing of residents. Increased population requires significant infrastructure improvements - not addressed in plan. Build for local needs not profiteers and safeguard inheritance of residents.
