Summary of comments

No. of houses proposed are not based on most recent data. Plan implies that there is sufficient brownfield land to support a 14 1/2 year building programme - ne need to release Green Belt within first decade of plan - Green Belt release will take away from regeneration of town centre and remediation of brownfield land. Fiddler's Ferry site should be used before Green Belt release. Part 2 of brownfield register must be completed.

Green Belt release not justified as brownfield sites are available for development. Land marked for Green Belt release is quality agricultural land - unsound/unjustified and contrary to Government legislation. No safe cycle lanes.

Summary of comments

Six56 development will provide car dependent low paid jobs until the automation of warehouses takes over - not an exceptional circumstance that can justify the use of Green Belt land. Impact on health and wellbeing of nearby residents not considered.
