Development will potentially increase flooding and reduce available agricultural land.

Industrial development will not result in a local workforce ? most people won?t be able to afford the local housing, more traffic from people travelling in to work will be inevitable. Plan will increase traffic congestion/pollution and will not provide affordable housing. Urban sprawl should be avoided.
