Use of Green Belt land not adequately considered or mitigated. Housing calculations do not justify use of Green Belt. The loss of open space will have a detrimental effect on traffic, air quality, loss of amenity and the separation of villages.

Proposal for development on Thelwall Heys is of great concern - disputes the statement that development here will not have a ?material impact on the functioning of Warrington?s Green Belt?. Material and severely detrimental effect on land. This area of land has previously been considered to be significant enough to be protected from development. Development will potentially increase flooding and reduce available agricultural land.

Industrial development will not result in a local workforce ? most people won?t be able to afford the local housing, more traffic from people travelling in to work will be inevitable. Plan will increase traffic congestion/pollution and will not provide affordable housing. Urban sprawl should be avoided.
