Plan does not demonstrate exceptional circumstances or meet criteria for Green Belt release - not sound and contrary to COP26 discussions. Brownfield sites have not been fully considered. Green Belt in South Warrington is productive - development would cause environmental damage, health of residents would suffer and pollution would increase.

Economic growth figures are flawed. Housing proposed in South Warrington will bring no benefit to town centre. Development will damage character and appeal of area and add significantly to existing congestion/pollution issues.

There is no clear transport strategy detail. The road infrastructure is either aspirational or not clearly planned across the local plan. The funding is not clearly set out for these infrastructure proposals.
