Development will take away leisure amenity from the area and result in loss of rural character. Residents in future will therefore have to travel by car to access other rural spaces for leisure use, adding to existing congestion/pollution. Ecology/habitats will be lost as a result of development. Housing is unlikely to be affordable - affordable housing demand not being met.
