Summary of comments

Plan will increase congestion and pollution. Access to town centre from South Warrington is already difficult - insufficient traffic flow/routes. Majority of services/facilities are located north of waterways. Social infrastructure insufficient to support proposed development. Majority of housing will not be affordable to workers of new warehousing development - increased congestion from commuters - questions whether COP26 doesn't apply to Warrington. Suggests that plan is a case of meeting developers needs and utilising land owned by WBC rather than a cohesive plan to make sustainable infrastructure or address needs of the area. Plan will destroy village feel of South Warrington. Plan should reflect character and history of area.
