Green belt should be kept as green belt. No use of our green belt should be the starting point for this plan. Given COP26 at the moment, we should be saving the natural environment, not destroying more. Saving our green belt is my number one concern. 5% green belt destruction is a really significant number and one I am horrified about. We send a lot of time with our children in the local outdoors, and I would like to see our green land preserved for future generations to come. Increase reliance of road usage and more houses, more traffic, more congested areas. Schools and leisure facilities are already full. The plan does nothing to regenerate Warrington town centre.
