Pleased with remove of nature reserve at Moore and fields at Walton from plan. However, plan for South Warrington is unsound due to scale of Green Belt development and impact on character of area. Scale of development will result in urban sprawl. No mention of impact on air quality and traffic flow in plan. Questions whether aspiration for green travel is likely to materialise. Public transport is currently poor and leads to increased vehicle use. Questions reference to Bridgewater Canal crossing. Green space should be protected for health and wellbeing of residents. Brownfield sites should be prioritised for development.
