Plan is very vague with regards to infrastructure and poorly thought through. Infrastructure should be in place before development. South Warrington area is served by poor transport links - no explanation of how this will cope with increased levels of traffic. Existing issues in the area with congestion will be amplified as a result of proposed development. Poor transport infrastructure will encourage residents to use motorway links to travel to nearby cities for work, shopping and leisure and will therefore not add to the economy of the town - greater focus needed on town centre regeneration. Plan does not convincingly show exceptional circumstances for Green Belt development. Destroying Green Belt will damage landscape and character of South Warrington villages.

Supports development. Primary schools in the area have low class numbers, therefore development at this site makes sense.

Plan does not convincingly show exceptional circumstances for Green Belt development. Green Belt should be preserved for health and wellbeing benefits. No clarity on means of delivery. No thought for improved heath/social infrastructure.
