Summary of comments

SEWUE, MD5 and Pewterspear developments are unsound due to no. of houses proposed being unrealistic and poorly thought out. No. of dwellings cannot be justified and is far higher than the 2018 population growth data suggests is necessary. Significant increase in housing is unsustainable as infrastructure is already overstretched and insufficient to support scale of development. Improvements required to support such development are not included in the plan. Plan is inadequate in overcoming issues with bottlenecks. Concern for increased pollution and reduced quality of life as a result of plan. Social infrastructure issues are not adequately considered in plan. Much of the proposed development would utilise Green Belt land - many brownfield sites available. Plan is not justified, deliverable and does not meet the assessed needs of the area.
