Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The use of greenbelt land despite its reduction from the previous plan is unnecessary and will cause significant reduction in the quality of life for local Residents. The additional traffic and lack of additional resources such a doctors and school places will place additional strain on already strained resources. Any development that replaces green areas with housing reduces the ability to control the water table and further increases the air pollution within an area already suffering with poor air quality. It is universally agreed that the environment is if the utmost importance and covering green areas with man made and pollutant concrete does nothing to improve the environment.

Modification if applicable

The release of greenbelt is supposed to be a ?last resort? where no other options exist. The council have failed to explore all brown field sites and have failed to prove the requirement to release greenbelt.
