Protection of the remaining greenbelt in south Warrington.
Development already progressing ay Grappenhall Heyes, Appleton Cross and Stretton mean the proposed development would completely, "fill in", all the remaining greenbelt in this area leaving only a small edge around Appleton Thorn.
From Warrington to Appleton Thorn would be completely built up loosing all open spaces, good agricultural land and destroying a green belt area beneficial and available to all Warrington Residents.
Such a loss would cause irrevocable damage to the image Warrington may want to give as a desirable place to live, becoming an area of urban sprawl rather than an area of attractive country green areas.
