No justification for predicted growth. No need for volume of housing or employment land. No justification for use of green belt land for the plan when there are plenty of Brown field sites available. No need to destroy the landscape and character of the areas south of Warrington. No explanation of infrastructure road improvements in South Warrington which are already poor. No plan for dealing with increased traffic levels. None of the plan helps in developing Warrington Town Centre.
Whilst we all realise there is a need for additional housing etc this plan seems as if an easy option has been taken and is little different from that of 2019. The council should look at all other options before continuing with a plan in South Warrington which has so many transport issues already. The use of Fiddlers Ferry as an option is positive but should have been one of the first options in the original thinking.
