UPSVLP 2096
I do not believe the Local Plan to be true to its statement of intent. It is lacking in vision, does not appear to address the needs of Residents in certain areas - Health and Education
1. The medical provision for the citizens of Warrington is woefully inadequate. The facilities and privision for all from cradle to grave needs serious thought and that is not evident in the Local Plan as it is presented.. Why is there not Walk in / Hub/ Treatment centre earmarked for Fiddlers Ferry. It would be an ideal site with road links / river crossings not just for Warrington's inhbitants but also Haltons.
2. Why are the Local Authority not aware of the surplus places in schools in West Warrington 9 particularly Primary) Fiddlers Ferry has rapid access by Foot, Bicycle, car, Pubic Transport to both Primary and Secondary Schools in Warrington
I would say it gives a Passing nod to Legal Compliance but it goes nowhere near far enough. West Warrington has been swanmped by Housing over the last decade with very little consideration given to the needs of the communities affected. It is not good enough.
We need improved Health facilities, We need our schools to be operating at full capacity
To make it sound refer to Points 4 and 5
That is if this is truly a consultation. Personally I have my doubts and feel decisions have already been made!
