Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

I consider the overall plan to be over development in green field areas of South Warrington at a time when we need more open space to meet new environmental targets.

Modification if applicable

Scale back the overall scheme as predicted growth appears to carry little justification, and infrastructure inadequate to meet increased demands.
Accepting that the old ?New Town? had purchased land for development, it was to be accompanied by substantial infrastructure plans for a new secondary school and flyover bridge crossings, not in new plans. Suggestions of using the cantilever bridge for the increased housing is absurd, just look at existing use. Similarly no pressure on Peel Holdings to improve bridge crossings, which get stuck in summer, and badly need overhauling.
