Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

The plan does not meet the needs if the area: heavier traffic on already busy roads and canal crossings; no school provision; air pollution as traffic already stands still at the canal crossings and will increase; no adequate leisure centres, parks and green spaces or provision for teenagers such as the older children's equipment once promised for Alexandra Park; no increase of medical centres when our existing ones are crumbling under the strain of growing numbers of people requiring appointments or phone calls with doctors; no improvement to public transport which is key to decreasing air pollution and traffic congestion (you can't even get a double pushchair on some of the buses); destroying green areas/green belt when there is plenty of brown land that should be used first. It's a disgrace and will put the local area and facilities under greater stress.

Modification if applicable

Road improvements.
Improvements to canal crossings.
More schools.
More information and a plan to improve air quality.
Adequate leisure facilities to cater for those already living in the area and those who may move into the proposed delepments.
Protection of green spaces and green belt land.
Better provision for the children and teens in the area and those who move into the new developments.
More medical centres to cater for more people and an increasingly aged population.
Better and more environmentally friendly public transport.
Brown land should be built on before any green spaces or green belt land is touched.
