Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

This draft local plan again fails to fully utilise brown field sites throughout the Warrington area. A prime example of this is the decision to utilise the majority of the redundant Fiddlers Ferry site as Business and Commercial use. There is no justification in the release of green belt land at the scale suggested. The plan fails to set out any adequate transport infrastructure through South Harrington yet proposes an increase of some 4500 new properties. I believe that there is nothing within the draft local plan that would regenerate the commence of our town centre. It will only provide the council with an increase in council tax.

Modification if applicable

A complete survey and proposal of all Brown Field sites throughout the borough. These should be made priority first choice land for building new homes.
