UPSVLP 2121
There's been a significant amount of development in this area in recent times already, which is still in progress, mostly on green belt land as far as I'm aware. This latest proposal seems completely excessive and beyond what is currently needed with the loss of yet more green belt.
There doesn't appear to be any thought going into the increase in traffic and air pollution in Stockton Heath village which is already choked up with traffic at peak times and when the swing bridge is off or the motorway closed which is a common occurrence.
Then there's the question of the extra schools and medical facilities needed which don't appear to be guaranteed at this point.
Overall I just don't think this is a sound plan for the area with the loss of yet more green belt when I'm led to believe there are still brownfield sites available for development.
Use all available brownfield sites before even considering tearing up the green belt.
If then it's really necessary things like air pollution, traffic problems and extra services, schools, medical facilities etc should be factored in before any future development.
