Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

There is no justification for predicted growth, no need for the volume of housing. The proposed plan involves taking too much green belt from South Warrington not considering the effects to air quality, pollution and local wildlife. No thought given to infrastructure, especially roads, our area is served by three Victorian swing bridges which already when they have to close can cause traffic chaos or if there are any issues on local motorways, traffic leaves the motorway and comes through our local villages which can mean queues for hours. I also believe there is no need to destroy the landscape and character of our villages.

Modification if applicable

More focus on brown field sites and areas closer to Warrington town centre that can make better use of public transport. The Unilever factory has closed I suggest this site be used for housing, it is right next to a railway station and not far from Warrington bus station.
