Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

I'm concerned about the increased air pollution the development will inevitable bring as well as taking away the wildlife habitats. Planned development even though it tries to sound nature friendly will in no way reproduce existing ecosystems. Brownfield land should be regenerated first before taking away greenbelt land. Releasing so much of the green belt will risk brownfield sites in the Town Centre not getting redeveloped.

Infrastructure proposed in the plan is unlikely to effectively support the new population. There are no clear plans to manage the impact of over 4000 houses on existing roads. No new crossings of the Bridgewater Canal are planned and the Western Link over the Ship Canal and the Mersey would be of limited use for journeys from Grappenhall or Appleton Thorn into Warrington.

Modification if applicable

Focus on Brownfield development first before releasing Greenbelt Land.
