UPSVLP 2181
Reduction of green belt in the historical, quaint village on the outskirts of Warrington when there are still areas of brown belt undeveloped. This would also erode the community and village feel of the area which is already under the threat of erosion due to the Parkside proposal.
The development would exacerbate the already overloaded roads, particularly at school and peak times (on Middleton Lane, Golborne Road & Newton Road/ Hollins Lane) and whenever there are problems on either of the motorways (M6 & M62).
This development also does not comply with the councils contribution to the Green Agenda as the local school is already fully enrolled and as suggested at the Halliwell Jones event any children enrolled in either of the 2 schools in Croft would require transporting.
