Why you consider the Draft Local Plan is not legally compliant or is unsound or fails to comply with the duty to co-operate

I concur with the position of the South Warrington Parish Council's Local Plan Working Group in opposition to the whole Local Plan 2021, in particular, their concerns regarding Infrastructure and related Congestion and Air Quality. The Local Plan does not indicate how the Local Transport Plan forms any part of the whole proposal. There is nothing as regards mass public transport systems, new roads or bridges. There is a great danger that the developers will gain approval to build the 4200 + houses as per the existing , overloaded, infrastructure.

Modification if applicable

Incorporate the Transport Plan within the Local Plan. Accepting the point that the Government has not funded W.B.C. , or any other local authority, to conduct detailed research or studies into Transport Planing for the 21st century, or where development funding is derived. It should be included, so the developers have to present planning applications , in accordance, with the Transport Plan as well.
