The plan shows increased trafic congestion and traffic delays, which will lead to higher air polution. Joe Public is in no rush to buy an elctric car, or indeed can most people afford one. The public will not solve the rising polution problem and whilst charging schemes raise money for the council they do nothing for the enviroment.
There is no green plan for the homes which are to be built, they will be built using the same enviromentally unfriendly materials, to the same poor standards as before with inadequate insulation and gas heating systems.
The planners are negligent in their responsibility to both the enviroment and the people of Warrington.
